Your Plantaform Indoor Garden uses a smart, two-tank system to automatically deliver the right amount of water and nutrients to your plants—so you can grow worry-free.

The Two-Tank System

Your Indoor Garden includes:

• Top tank – Holds up to 2 liters of water
• Bottom tank – Holds up to 7 liters of water

Together, they provide a total of up to 9 liters of water capacity.

How Refilling Works

When it’s time to refill, the Plantaform app will send you a reminder and guide you through the steps. Here’s what to do:

1. Open the app and enter how much water is currently in the bottom tank.
2. The app will calculate exactly how much water and nutrients you need to add based on:
   • The Plant Pack you're growing
   • The number of days your plants have been growing

This calculation ensures your plants get the perfect amount of nutrients—no more, no less.

🌱 Tip: Some plants (like tomatoes) require more nutrients, while others (like herbs) are more sensitive. Too much nutrient can cause burnt edges or yellowing of older leaves. A little yellowing is normal, but if you notice excessive discoloration, double-check the app’s nutrient suggestion.

How Water Transfers Between Tanks

Your garden is constantly monitoring the water level in the bottom tank.

When it drops below 3 liters, the system automatically transfers water from the top tank to the bottom—no action needed from you.

What the Water Levels Mean

Here's a breakdown of what each water status means in your app:

• Full – 9L total: both tanks filled. You're good to grow!
• Medium – 5L remaining: top tank has drained, water system is half-full
• Refill – 3L remaining: time to refill soon
• Low – Less than 3L: system still operating, but not ideal
• Empty – 0L: refill within 24 hours to prevent plant damage

How “Days Until Refill” Works

In the app’s water page, you’ll see a “Days until refill” estimate. This number is based on real data from our research facility and ongoing experiments.

However, your actual results may vary depending on:

• Temperature
• Humidity
• Airflow
• Plant type and size

We’re always improving this estimate—if it hasn’t been accurate for you, let us know so we can continue to improve the experience!
