The LED lighting system in your Plantaform Indoor Garden has been custom-engineered in-house to provide optimal lighting conditions for your plants—while also offering a warm, ambient glow that adds to the beauty of your space.
Light That Feeds and Feels Good
Each Indoor Garden features 4 LED strips, designed to deliver the ideal spectrum and intensity of light for healthy plant growth and to look great in your home.
These LED strips include two distinct light spectrums, each individually controlled:
- Deep Red light (approximately 660–670 nm)
- Full Spectrum light (simulating natural daylight)
Smart Lighting That Adapts to Your Plants
The system doesn’t just turn on and off—it adapts. Based on the Plant Pack you’ve selected and how many days your plants have been growing, the Plantaform automatically adjusts:
- Light intensity
- Spectrum ratio (red vs. full spectrum)
This dynamic adjustment ensures your plants get exactly what they need at each stage of their lifecycle—from germination to leafy growth to flowering (if applicable).
Adjustable Lighting
Within the Plantaform App, in the Lights Page, you are able to manually adjust 2 parameters of the LED lights:
- Dim Lights - Use this feature to check on your plants, harvest, or dim the device for 2 hours at a time or until the next day.
- Light Schedule - While the light cycle is automatically set to match your plant’s needs, you can adjust the time your Indoor Garden turns ON or OFF. Once you set either the ON or OFF time, the system will automatically adjust the other to maintain the optimal daily light duration.
Why it matters: Deep red light is especially effective for promoting flowering and fruiting, but it doesn’t cover the entire spectrum your plants need. That’s why the full spectrum light is also used—to provide a balanced range of wavelengths that support healthy, all-around development. If you're ever curious about what light settings your garden is using, check the app’s light page for live controls and insights (coming soon in future updates!).
