The Status Light Button on your Plantaform Indoor Garden is a multifunction button that provides real time information about your device and allows you to control key features directly on the unit. It indicates connectivity, water levels, maintenance needs, and also enables manual controls like Party Mode and Light Dimming.
Using the Status Light Button
Party Mode is both a visual feature and a diagnostic tool.
Why use Party Mode?
- Watch the garden fill with fog to see the fogponics system in action
- Quickly confirm that foggers and internal components are working properly
How to activate Party Mode
- Quickly double click the Status Light Button on the device
If you do not see fog during Party Mode, please review the fog troubleshooting Help Centre article. If the issue persists, contact us at support@plantaform.com and we will help you troubleshoot.
2. Dimming the Lights Using the Status Light Button
You can temporarily dim the grow lights directly on the device without using the app.
How to dim the lights
- Single press the Status Light Button
- The LED lights will dim for 2 hours
To return lights to full brightness
- Single press the Status Light Button again before the 2 hours are up
About the Lighting Schedule
- Your Plantaform Indoor Garden is designed to provide 14 to 18 hours of light per day, depending on the growing cycle.
- If you adjust either the ON or OFF time in the Plantaform App, the device will automatically adjust the other setting to maintain the correct daily light exposure. This ensures consistent growth and healthy plants.
Status Light Color Meanings
Solid White ⚪️

Device Is Online
- Your Plantaform Indoor Garden is connected to WiFi and operating normally. No action is required.
Blinking White ⚪️

Connecting to WiFi
- The device is in the process of connecting to your WiFi network. This typically happens shortly after plugging in or reconnecting.
Solid Green 🟢

Device Is Offline
- Your Indoor Garden has temporarily lost its WiFi connection but will continue growing as programmed. The device will automatically attempt to reconnect.
Blinking Blue 🔵

WiFi Setup Mode
- The device is ready to be paired with the Plantaform App. This mode is used during initial setup or when reconnecting to WiFi.
Blinking Yellow 🟡

Top Water Tank Draining
- The top water tank is actively draining into the bottom water tank. This is normal and helps maintain optimal water levels.
Solid Yellow 🟡

Bottom Water Tank Is Low
- The bottom water tank is running low and should be refilled soon to ensure continued plant growth.
Solid or Blinking Red 🔴

Bottom Water Tank Is Empty
- The bottom water tank is empty and must be refilled immediately to prevent plant damage.
