If you’re not seeing fog inside your Plantaform Indoor Garden, don’t worry—there are a few simple things you can check to get things back on track. Fog is created by ultrasonic foggers located in the bottom water tank, and its visibility can vary depending on lighting and air circulation.
Step 1: Activate Party Mode
Party Mode is designed to visually confirm that fog is being produced. To activate it:
On the Indoor Garden:
- Quickly double-press the status light button.
Via the App:
- Open the Plantaform App.
- Tap the ⓘ icon in the top right corner of your device screen.
- Toggle to the Settings tab, then tap on the Party Mode button.
Watch the growing chamber closely—fog should become visible around the base of the pods within a few seconds and the LED lights should be changing colour from red to white.
Step 2: Check Water Levels
Make sure your bottom water tank is filled below the 7L Max Fill Line. Too much water can prevent the foggers from working properly.
Step 3: Inspect Internal Components
Sometimes a misaligned or disconnected internal tube can block fog from reaching the plants. You can reference this How-To Video to disassemble and reassemble the root chamber to check.
Step 4: Check for Fog Fan Operation
Fog needs airflow to reach your plants. When Party Mode is active, listen for the fan at the top of the device. If it’s silent or not spinning, fog may not be moving properly inside the chamber.
Still Not Seeing Fog?
If all of the above checks seem fine but you still don’t see fog:
- Send us a video of your device in Party Mode
- Include a close-up of the top fan area
- Email everything to support@plantaform.com so our team can review and guide you further
